Toni & Guy Sea Salt Spray Review

This is now one of my staple hair products for the summer. I won an Instagram competition a number of weeks back, a Toni & Guy hair care set and this was included! It’s amazing for creating body, texture and that beachy feel without being really sticky and residue-y. I usually spray it through all of my hair when it’s 80% dry and blast with the hair dryer and continue with this when it’s 90% dry and then fully dry to try and get some body into my hair which is really thick but likes to lie flat a lot. It’s also great when you don’t want to get the hair-dryer out at all as it gives a bit of shape to hair that’s dried naturally. I will definitely be taking this on holiday in September repurchasing it when it runs out and that says a lot for me and hair products that aren’t dry shampoo! Read More

Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder – Golden Light

This is a product I’ve wanted for ages and ages and when I received a John Lewis voucher for my graduation I knew exactly what  was going to end up in my make-up bag. Now, this isn’t a new product and I’m sure everyone and their beauty blogger has tried it but I really like it and I’ve wanted to add it to my collection for a while now. I was going to buy the shade Medium, but the girl on the counter recommended the Golden Light instead and I think she’s right, it suits me better than the red tones of the Medium shade. This gives a really natural glow and it feels silky soft on the skin. I’m currently using the Eco Tools Large Powder Brush to apply it and they go really nicely together. Read More

What's in My Festival Survival Kit

Dry shampoo, baby wipes, a little bit of sea-salt spray, loads of anti-bacterial stuff and a little bit of Avene Eau Thermale is the perfect festival survival kit. Forget the tent, I just need my Toni & Guy Sea-Salt Spray! Sporks have been my favourite piece of cutlery ever since I was in the cadets and doing Duke of Edinburgh, they’re an ingenious bit of kit that house a spoon, fork and a serrated edge for choppin’ and cuttin’! Beverley Hills Formula Whitening Toothpaste

Everyone wants that Cheryl Cole smile don’t we? I know I do. Currently I’m trialling out the Beverley Hills Formula Whitening Toothpaste collection in which they’ve got a crazy black one, a normal one and a sensitive version. I’m about half way through the tube of standard whitening and I think it’s doing a pretty good job at keeping my teeth whiter than my usual toothpaste! I can’t wait to try the black version which actually has charcoal in it. This blows my mind how something black can make your teeth whiter? I’ll let you all know how I get on. Has anyone used this toothpaste range? Read More

Clarins Summer Fragrance; Eau des Jardins

Today, we’re talking fragrance. Not just any fragrance, but the prettiest bottle and the loveliest smelling summer fragrance of the moment from Clarins. Their new line has three additions, this is the ‘floral’ scent and they have a woody one and a citrus based one too. They all smell beautiful but this one is my definite favourite, rose and blackcurrant are an amazing combination, who knew? This is definitely my summer scent from now on. Bring on the sunshine. Battle of the Liquid Eyeliners

The cats eye eyeliner flick is just like my hair style, a staple in my every day life that doesn’t change or alter too massively. I love a bit of continuity and stability within my morning routine! Today’s post is a little battle of the eyeliners, you can see which liquid marker pen eyeliners I like and which one I think is personally the best. Read More

SheerSense Lip Sense Lip Stick Review

This was nearly the review that wasn’t. I nearly didn’t pick it up the other morning and try it as I’ve been waiting a few weeks for it to arrive due to warehouse issues and moving house and I’d kind of lost interest. They also don’t have the best branding and their website www.sheersense.com & social presence is pretty diabolical. You won’t have heard of them and I’m not sure about the branding and the name, but it’s such a shame because the product is really amazing. This is a truly honest review and I’m going to take you through my experience of using the product from hating it and wondering how on earth I could scrub it off before going to work to absolutely loving it and wishing that I had the whole range to try out. Haircare Heroes

I don’t often chat hair on my blog. Fashion; yeah, beauty; definitely and lifestyle occasionally. I can probably count the amount of haircare posts I’ve done on one hand, I don’t know why, it’s just not normally my thang. But, I thought, seeing as I’m finally happy with my hair and what I have done to it, I’d share a few products that I rely on to keep my tresses in tip top condition. Read More

#5DayLipstickChallenge Update!

So here’s a little round up of my #5DayLipstickChallenge where I challenged myself to wear 5 of my favourite lipsticks in my collection per day. It didn’t happen that I wore one day after day because I had other things on that wouldn’t let me but I completed my challenge! I did this because I’m rubbish with lipstick, I’m lazy and would happily do the rest of my face and leave my lips as they are. Bad beauty blogger. Must try harder. And I did! I really enjoyed wearing them actually and I’m definitely going to try and wear a lippy at least once a week! What do you think of  my challenge? Would you do one? Is there a beauty product that you feel that you need to wear more? Let me know. Read More
