Is it just me or is Sienna Miller absolutely nailing it at the moment? I just find that I’m loving literally every outfit she’s snapped in this year. She’s a girl after my own heart with her love of navy, stripes and collars plus she looks smoking when she’s all dolled up. And she’s got great hair. Keep it up, girl!
A few weeks ago, on a (partly-sunny) Sunday, Luke & I popped down to Hardwick Hall, just outside of Nottingham and checked out the Great British Food Festival. This is where Oasis’ crazy little shop-on-wheels Bessie The Bus was based for a stop of her giant tour of Great Britain! She’s been on the road since the 17th of May and is hitting up 250 stops on her tour, so see if you can catch her – it’s a whole load of cuteness.
If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen this snap of some of my shoes last week! I was having a major wardrobe sort out, as I seem to have every weekend (I just don’t know what I do to my clothes in the week?!) and decided to base my outfits for the week on some of the shoes I wanted to wear. Now the weather’s getting a little bit warmer I decided to whack out some of the sandals I’ve been hoarding for the past few months too.
Monday: Monday saw my new favourite ASOS ‘Famously’ Flat-Bed Sandals paired with some black skinny jeans. These are some seriously comfy sandals and they’re only £20. Bargain.
Pale pink, textured and three-quarter sleeves. This is my new favourite jumper! It looks really cute with a white shirt underneath and a black leather skirt but it also looks awesome with washed denim jeans like my favourite All Saints Ashby style. I really like this colour, I’m thinking about getting some more lighter-coloured knits for the spring time, so hit me up if you have any recommendations!
My first McCarthurGlen Designer Outlet experience was at Cheshire Oaks when I got lost with my mum on the way back from somewhere when I was about 10, I think! We thought we’d found the Mecca of shopping, it was awesome. So, when East Midlands Designer Outlet invited me along for a day of shopping to check out what they had on offer as part of their Spring/Summer accessories campaign, I was excited to say the least.
Whenever Orla Kiely brings out a new collaboration range with Clarks the little retro-loving part of me comes alive and all I want to do is wear A-line dresses and cute collars. The newest addition to my (pretty insane) shoe collection are the Orla ‘Beryl’ platform leather beauties! I love the detail on them, the flowers, the printed sole, everything. Plus, the leather is really soft so they’ll be quite comfortable I hope. How pretty will these look in the summer for fancy parties or weddings? All I need now is a fancy party to go to. Invites in the post please! Stay tuned for outfit posts galore. These shoes deserve killer outfits, right?
Being on a serious spending ban definitely makes you want to shop more! Working in social media also doesn’t help as I’m constantly on retailer websites looking up new collections, fresh trends and the like so I’m always spotting new things I’d love to have in my wardrobe. These are the current things I’m dying to get my hands on… There’s a little monochrome and gold theme going on apparently, I hadn’t noticed until I put it together!
These ah-mezzing Rock n Rose Eugenie Pom Pom Earrings are the latest addition to my wardrobe and I am obsessed with them. I bought them to wear on New Years Eve but unfortunately they didn’t arrive in time! They’re definitely my go-to party earrings now but I’m also looking forward to wearing them with jeans and a stripy top in the day time. What do you think?
I’m all over the Scandinavian minimalist look at the moment and these Dorothy Perkins heeled ankle boots are perfect for pairing with jeans or thick tights and a leather skirt (my current favourite combination!). I really like the matte grey colour which contrasts with the wooden block heel. They’re also the comfiest boots ever and I wore them for the first time for a full day at work from around 7.30am until about 6pm and my feet didn’t hurt at all, I was really surprised because I thought at least the balls of my feet would ache as they’re quite high in comparison to my usual boots! They’re in the sale at House of Fraser for £30 at the moment, I’m trying to find them in black too!
Unless you’ve been living under a fashion-related rock you would have noticed the huge surge in trainers becoming a staple part of street style wear for both girls and guys. You can’t turn a corner in a city centre without seeing a pair of New Balance! It amazes me how some trends really take off and I love watching them spread, it’s crazy! I mean, a year ago would we all have been wearing Adidas Originals Stan Smiths or Nike Air Max Thea or slip on Vans? Probs not, just saying. I’m obsessed with this trend, I’ve always been a bit of a trainer head anyway because I just love the comfort – it’s something that just can’t be beaten. But now I can totally embrace my love of all things sneakers because it’s totally on trend. Bonus.
