Suede and tassels are huge right now, peek into any high street shop or surf ASOS for a couple of hours (I definitely fall into an ASOS vortex at least once a week!) and you’ll find page after page of tasselled bags, boots, jackets and so much more suede than you could ever imagine. I love both of these trends but it’s tricky to wear them without falling into the classic Western trap. I love this look and I’ve definitely been rocking suede and tassels with denim this season but I wanted to mix things up with my new bag from hot new brand Love My Soul.
5 Summer Capsule Wardrobe Essentials
Hopefully summer is almost here! We had a touch of sunshine recently but hopefully we’ll have some more that’s here to stay very soon. If not, we’ll have to wait for our summer holidays!
1. The White Jeans
I love white jeans, they just scream summer to me and are so fresh! These J Brand 811 Blanc Jeans look to be the perfect shade of bright white. I’ve always wanted to try some J Brand jeans so these are definitely on my wish list.
Top 6 Summer Snake Accessories
When you say ‘snake print’ and accessories in the same sentence it usually conjures up either 80s cowboy boots or bad Pat Butcher handbags! But, come on now guys, it’s 2016 and we’ve definitely moved away from those tacky days. Now snake print is all kinds of cute and I’ve got six of my favourite high street pieces to share with you today.
Being A #NapQueen + New Beauty Buys
It might be a little bit early for a favourites post but I thought it was time as I’ve been loving all of these products for the past few weeks. There’s a mix of beauty, skincare, fashion and a tea in here, all perfect for the springtime.

First up are the Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Cleansing Wipes. These are new in the Neutrogena Visibly Clear Range and they’re the perfect morning pick me up for a quick cleanse or as the first step in my evening skincare routine to take off all my gunky makeup before going in with a cleansing gel or balm. Next and lastly in skincare is an eye cream. My love for avocados is growing by the day so it was only a matter of time until I picked up the Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado. I feel like my skin is definitely getting more dry in texture as I’m getting older and especially the skin around my eyes can feel like it needs some TLC so this is perfect as it’s super hydrating.
Top 5 ALDO SS16 Shoes + WIN £500!
A statement flat is all the rage right now in blogger-land and I’ve got to say I’m well on board with this trend. I don’t wear heels a lot so a fancy pair of flats is a great way to spruce up outfits for me. First up these Legalini Pointed Slip On Flats are so on trend and look like the comfiest smart shoes I’ve ever seen. Next up these Delias Lace-Up Espadrilles are so holiday-ready they’re already in the check-in queue. I love an espadrille and the lace-up detail on these make them super stylish and add something extra to a classic white summer dress. Finally, in the flats department, these Eddiva Statement Flats would look amazing with some clean cut black trousers and a white t-shirt!
Top 5 Summer Wedding Style Picks
Wedding season is upon us. From April to September there will no doubt be some weddings happening in your family or friendship group so it’s time to start planning those outfits. Here’s five style picks to make sure you’re the best-dressed couple at the reception!
1. The Jumpsuit
I’m obsessed with jumpsuits, they’re my go-to for any occasion as I think they’re a bit different! I usually don’t feel very comfortable in dresses, I feel too dressed up so jumpsuits are a winner for me. I love the print and the shape of this Whistles Lilias Jungle print jumpsuit. It’d look great with wedges or neutral barely-there sandals so you can adapt your shoe choice according to the terrain (i.e is there grass?!) at the event you’re attending.
6 Ways To Celeb-ify Your Getting Ready Routine
There are so many reasons why you might want to push the boat out while getting ready for a night. Maybe it’s your birthday or your best friend’s hen party? Whatever the reason, it’s fun to act like a TOWIE cast member and get ready just how the celebs do. It’s possible to pamper yourself without having to hurt your bank balance as well. As long as you have plenty of time, you can follow these steps to get ready for a night out like a celeb!
The Spring Time Bomber Jacket
Another rare outfit of the day post, I want to do more of these as we go into the spring time if it’s something you guys would like to see? This is a completely ‘me’ outfit. Trainers, denim and a bomber jacket are all style staples for me. I’ve been obsessed with my navy bomber jacket all winter, it’s been a perfect layering piece and goes with literally everything.
My Stripes Are Better Than Yours
I discovered Mon Breton when they followed me on Instagram a few weeks ago and then I couldn’t stop thinking about the brand. Personalisation+ stripes + optional emojis = my heaven, basically. Check their Insta out here. I knew I had to have one so I ordered one pretty pronto after about 12 hours of deliberating with myself whether I needed another striped top or not. Turns out, I convinced myself I did and I love it.
Style Obsession: The Neutral Wrap Skirt
I recently featured this gorgeous River Island Pink Woven Wrap Midi Skirt in my New Season Wish List post last week and just had to pick it up too. I can’t wait for the rain to go away and for it to be skirt weather again! Since spying this skirt online, I checked out ASOS and four other wrap skirts that have sneaked onto my spring capsule wardrobe dream list. They’re all neutral and super versatile. I can see them all working with trainers and a great t-shirt for the day and heels for a night out!
