When you say ‘snake print’ and accessories in the same sentence it usually conjures up either 80s cowboy boots or bad Pat Butcher handbags! But, come on now guys, it’s 2016 and we’ve definitely moved away from those tacky days. Now snake print is all kinds of cute and I’ve got six of my favourite high street pieces to share with you today.
Let’s start with shoes and I’m a little bit obsessed with these Daisy Street Gladiator Sandals, I think it’s the added tassels. I just can’t get enough of pom poms and tassels for a summer holiday wardrobe. Next up, these Faith Leanne Multi Strap Heels are beautiful and are surprisingly neutral and versatile because the snake print isn’t too in your face and obvious. These are a great alternative to black shoes if you, like me, like to usually keep it simple when it comes to heels. Finally, in the shoe department are the awesome ‘Geri’ slip-on flats from Jones Bootmaker‘s new Urban Tropics collection. I love the minimalist shape of these, they’re simple yet they really make a statement! A super smart flat that’s a great alternative to sandals if you haven’t got around to getting that summer-ready pedicure yet.
Onto bags and I love the bucket/duffle bag shape for the summer, this ASOS Duffle Bag is a great size for carrying around your essentials and not overloading yourself with unnecessary stuff. If you’re anything like me, if you have a big bag, you’ll fill it with everything that you don’t need! Next up in the bag department is this gorgeous Suede Cross Body Bag with Snake Strap. How pretty is this pink colour? Suede is such a great fabric that makes any outfit look instantly more luxe. The snake print element on this bag is really subtle and delicate too. Finally, an item that I had to pick up in the ASOS sale is this Snake Double Prong Belt. This is great for adding to dresses or wearing with jeans for that added ‘I think I’m a cowboy in a Western’ look which I’m definitely going for this season.
