Comfort zones are the one thing that a lot of people try to avoid. Do something everyday that scares you, get out of your comfort zone, blah. We hear it everyday don’t we? Well obviously doing this is amazing and it’s good for you but there’s something to be said about having a comfort zone.

Sweater weather is here! Hell to the yes, I literally love jumpers, cardigans, knitwear, however many times you want to say it – I just wanna be cosy af all the time. Here are 9 pieces fresh from three of my fave high street brands to shop from that I am loving for the new season.
ASOS
ASOS is bringing the big guns this year when it comes to knitwear and they have nailed it with this oversized crew neck cream jumper. It is pure Pinterest perfection and is 100% going straight in my basket when a little discount rolls my way. Two super bright beauties that I’m loving have to be the fluffy lilac jumper with wide sleeves – (how amazing is this colour?) and the PrettyLittleThing three tiered baby blue jumper. Who said AW had to be all boring and dark? Not ASOS!

As if it’s September? It’s basically autumn and summer is well and truly behind us. Well, I hope the weather realises so anyway because I always get so confused this time of year about what to wear. The day will start out freezing and you’ll be sweating by lunchtime. Nightmare. Anyway, seeing as it’s a whole new month I thought I’d share some items I’m lusting over for the new season.
Finding your ‘going out’ style – easy or dilemma?
Going out ‘out’ is a funny thing! It’s a bit of a mine field for casual gals like me and it kind of sets me into panic mode. When our summer social rolled around for work I was instantly stuck for what to wear but I had to think quick. This was my situ! Let me know your go-to going out style in the comments, maybe you’ll inspire me!

How to navigate British summer in style
On a rare sunny Sunday I shot a few snaps with some new buys and I thought that this is typical British summer. It was about 19-ish degrees and sunny at random intervals. When I think British summer, this is it. Not those freak heatwaves we have for about a week and then it rains for two. This is British summer and how to style it can be tricky!

Where we went
You’ll have seen me post about The Pudding Pantry before. It’s a little gem of Nottingham city centre that do epic cakes and tasty brunch. We both went for the classic scrambled eggs with a few cheeky sides. I spotted that PP have started doing their own ice cream and they have a full on truck inside with incredible flavours such as gin & tonic. If it wasn’t 10am we definitely would have grabbed a scoop.
