This Christmas I’m trying to buy as many presents as I can from local and independent sellers as opposed to the mega-big retailers that I usually buy from. I want to buy more thoughtful and good quality items. And, I think it’s so great to make an independent seller happy by giving them a sale. And, more often than not their products are so awesome and not something you’d usually find on the high street.
Since having my Apple watch I’ve obviously found myself wearing my actual watches less and less but I do tend to wear them on the weekends and if I’m going out. I’ve actually come to really like this because I appreciate them and enjoy wearing my ‘jewellery’ watches more because it’s more special. I absolutely love minimal watches and they’re still such a trend! They’re just simple and pretty and go with almost any outfit. Here are 6 of my favourite picks that are perfect for pressies from F.Hinds.
Shopping for the ‘rents can be tricky at Christmas but over the years I like to think that I’m getting better. Here are a few of my favourite picks and ideas for the main people in our lives! From beauty to bookmarks, I’ve got it covered.
Pressies For Mums
If you’re mum is a beauty and skincare junkie then she’s probably pretty easy to buy for and Christmas can be a great time to really treat her! I may or may not have already picked up the beautiful Clarins Festive Eyeshadow Palette which is a glorious palette of 10 ultra-soft eyeshadows in warm, nude shades in three different textures and finishes. Every woman needs a stunning eyeshadow palette in her life and this is one of the best things on the market right now in my opinion.
Christmas is well and truly on its way and it’s time to start thinking about gifts if you haven’t already. Who am I kidding, we’ve been thinking about gifts since September, right? I have anyway. I’ve already done a couple of wintery and gift-themed posts but this one feels really festive!
With Christmas on the horizon, pennies are definitely tight for everyone. Even though we know it comes on the same day every year, it’s still a big expense! I think it’s impossible to properly budget for Christmas because you just don’t know what’s going to pop up and need paying for. That being said, DIY gifts are a great way to cut costs over the festive period. They’re also fun to make and will definitely make your friends and family smile.
With Mother’s Day just around the corner, you may be panicking about what to get as a last minute gift. Mums can be the hardest to buy for, do you splash out and get her something she’s always wanted? Or do you go down the sentimental and thoughtful route of flowers or chocolates?
The infographic below takes a look at some of the most popular gifts given to mums on Mother’s Day and aims to help you figure out which gift-giving route to head down.
V-Day is coming and if you fancy spending some pennies on your better half I’ve got a few ideas for gifts. I know some people spend a lot at Valentine’s Day and some like to just give a token gift so there’s a range of prices in this gift guide! At the lower end of the price spectrum are some grooming bits, the Dapper Dan Matt Clay and Uppercut Deluxe Quiff Brush make a great gift together as well as separate pieces if your guy’s into his grooming. Pop them into a cool wash bag for a home-made gift set feel, I like this monochrome Herschel Supply Co Wash Bag which is available from ASOS.
I’m well and truly in the Christmas spirit now and I even bought some wrapping paper the other day. Well, it’s pretty much December now so I think it’s about time. With luxury brands such as UGG, Ralph Lauren home and Missoni home and loads of quirky and affordable gifts, Amara is an awesome place to get all your family’s pressies in one go this Christmas!
This is a gift guide for the ones with cash to splash and the ones that don’t but want to look like they have! For example, need a gift that looks like you’ve spent a month’s wages on it? Try Baukjen, they have loads of gorgeous jewellery such as the Boe Infinity Necklace and Leather Band Ring that don’t cost the earth. I mean, that leather band ring is so cute and it’s only £14!
