Barburrito Nottingham Review

Here’s me making an effort to blog about one of my other massive loves. Food. Especially Mexican food. Now, I’m from the land of Mission Burrito, the kids up here don’t seem to know what that is but I have them near me at home in Bristol, Bath and Oxford, I’m not sure if they’re the only branches but that was my first exposure to burrito fast food. So, when I came back to uni in October and saw that this little baby, Barburritor, had popped up in Nottingham we all went wild.

I love Mexican and a burrito is all good because you can just wrap that baby up and eat it. Now at Barburrito you get the choice of two different rice, two different bean chillis, 5 different fillings and then onions and peppers, cheese, salsa, sour cream, lettuce, guacamole, you name it, it’s in there. I’ve tried the chicken, pulled pork and the spicy beef so far. There’s also the options for a veg filling and a steak filling. In my opinion the spicy beef is the best choice, it’s really soft and shredded so goes perfectly in a burrito.

They make everything in front of you and I love watching them roll them up! The only downside is a burrito is just under £6.50 which is expensive for a lunch. It’s kind of a Nando’s type of price point so of course it’s about the experience and the food is so yummy and you get loads so you get your money’s worth but of course it’s a pricey sandwich and you couldn’t have one every day.
