Today’s post is all about me totally fan-girling over Alexa Chung and her incredible style (she needs to save some cool for the rest of us, it’s kinda unfair) and obsessing over her favourite (& now one of my most coveted) designers – Shrimps. Designer, Hannah Weilend debuted Shrimps at London Fashion Week just gone and with huge fans like Alexa, Susie Bubble and Helena Bonham Carter the hype was ON!
Shrimps SS15 collection was a whirlwind of colour faux fur, pastels and brights and the cutest pyjamas you have ever seen. I’m all about the orange faux fur Pablo clutch and the faux fur Agnes jacket that are available on Avenue 32 and am dying to get my hands on some of their fluffy heeled shoes. They’re just the perfect statement shoe. Alexa has been pictured with their Daisy clutch, a two-tone flower shaped ball of goodness.
The models wore pared down make-up, dewy skin and the best shell ponytails ever courtesy of BLEACH London. Check out Zoe London‘s behind the scenes blog post here for some gorgeous shots and a sneak peak at the hair & make-up goings on. Hint, the pearly nails will make you feel totally inadequate as a girl and you’ll be off to ramp up the girly-ness in seconds! Also, check out this Fashion Editor at Large blog post for an interview with Hannah and 7 super cute facts about the brand.
Get the look for less by grabbing pearly jewellery from the likes of ASOS, Accessorize and even Claire’s Accessories and forget brown and black faux fur and get some colour into your life! Pair with silky pyjama style tops and you’ve got the winning Shrimps look. I’m off to sell my soul, wardrobe and maybe boyfriend to afford the cheeky Pablo clutch.
