Home decor is one of my favourite things to shop for, follow on Instagram and swoon over on Pinterest! I’ve recently discovered UncommonGoods a Brooklyn-based retailer of a super quirky range of homeware pieces from bookends to baskets. They specialise in unique designs and, at least, a third of their products are made from recyclable materials, which I think is pretty cool. Another great thing about UncommonGoods is the fact that they support so many charities, since they started their Better to Give program 15 years ago, they’ve donated over $1,000,000 dollars to charities around the world!
Let’s kick off with my top six pieces from their range at the moment, this Cloudy Day Toilet Roll Storage is hilarious, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a better way of storing your toilet rolls, I really want one! Next up, I absolutely love this Handmade Herringbone Knitting Basket, I’m in love with the colour and the design. I probably (definitely) wouldn’t use it for storing my wool for knitting as I don’t knit but I know I could find something cute to put in it!
I’ve seen these DIY Cinema Light Box frames all over Instagram, especially over New Years and Christmas, they’re really cool and customisable. Continuing on the Insta theme, these cool Vintage Camera Pillows is basically the Instagram logo in real camera form, I think it would look really cool in my living room. The most expensive piece in my wishlist is this really cool brightly coloured Basket Locker, this would be such a cool storage piece in a big kitchen or office.
Lastly, this super cool Personalised Mixtape Doormat would be a great gift for any music lover. If you’re looking for a few different pieces to add to your home that are functional as well as freaking awesome, UncommonGoods is the place to go!
