The festive season is well and truly here and I am all about getting sorted for Christmas. I’m wrapping gifts, buying advent calendars, booking in Christmas catch-ups and parties and popping up cute Christmas lights! Yas. Speaking of Christmas lights, how awesome are these customisable alphabet lights from Cox & Cox? If you know me, you’ll know that I am all about anything that I can customise, personalise or generally have my name on. I’ve always loved prints and, posters and sticking things up on my walls. From Kerrang! magazine posters to quirky prints from Urban Outfitters and IKEA now, I just love how they can change a room’s look and feel. Flicking through the gorgeous interiors Instagram accounts is my first port of call! That’s the easy part. Here are three of the most common mistakes that we all make when buying furniture. If you can cut these out of your shopping experience, you can be sure the result will be a room that is just how you want it.
When you’ve lived somewhere for a while, like anything that sticks around for longer than 5 minutes, there is the tendency to become a bit bored with it. But, unless you’re cu-razy rich it’s probably not on the cards to up and move every time you get bored with your home and interiors.
There are so many things I love when it comes to interiors, decor and home ware in general. One of the things that tends to catch my eye the most though is flooring, which I believe is the very foundation to any house (literally!). Flooring can set the tone for a whole room, when paired with different furnishings it can bring so many features out to play. With that in mind I have decided to chat about a couple of my fave floors with you, some old, some new but all just lovely!
