Ever since we bought our first ‘proper’ home just over a year ago it’s been full steam ahead to make this little Victoria terrace our dream place to live. After almost 5 years of renting and looking after other people’s magnolia or white-washed walls it was time for us to release our personality into our home life. Although I think our rooms are pretty funky – they have their own themes as you walk through the house, I think I’ve created a basis of timeless style that can grow and develop with us as a couple and in the future, a family.
We all love a good bottomless brunch don’t we? But, one thing me and my gals don’t love is the wavy bus or train ride home from brunch! What’s the answer to this teeny problem? Definitely bottomless brunch at home. Here’s my super easy but delicious plan for a bottomless brunch at home, just ask everyone to bring a bottle and it truly will be as bottomless as you like.
Winter is (fingers crossed) almost gone for another year and the longer days and warmer weather should be starting to make themselves known again. I won’t lie to you, it’s a good feeling to not have to put on three thermals and a jumper just to leave the house! I mean, I’ve only got one thermal on today. *Eye roll emoji* Is summer around the corner?
Oh hi there, it’s been a little while and this post is exactly the reason why it’s been a couple of weeks since my last post. You can blame this little grey room for the lack of content around here because it’s just been super duper hectic as we’ve really cracked on with decorating these past few weeks.
25. Nearly 26. Do I feel old? Not in my current job, I feel like one of the youngest (because I am) in the whole team but do I feel experienced? I actually do and that’s a great feeling. Ta-da! Another room in the house reno/decoration is almost perfect. Finally, our living room feels like a living room. There’s still some finishing touches to do like glossing the skirting board but that can wait when this is what we’re working with now – as opposed to grubby carpet and just a sofa as the sole piece of furniture in the room.
