It’s official, say goodbye to your trusty skinny jeans (sob!) and welcome the old favourite straight leg denim back into your life. Straight leg jeans are the epitome of relaxed style, coming in and out of trends as time rolls on – but its official, they are back on trend for 2017.

Getting the right fit is vital. Make sure they’re slim, but not tight like skinnies. With a clean-cut but casual look, they look great with sweaters or relaxed tees. They are great for perfecting the chilled-out style. Whilst choosing the right top to match with your jeans is pretty easy – shoes however, can be tricky. They can make or break an outfit, so choose wisely when finishing off your outfit. Here are some of my favourite choices… Read More

Strada Birmingham ICC Review

We headed down to Birmingham last weekend to see Lower Than Atlantis and Hands Like Houses at the O2 Academy which was pretty great! Before our gig we headed to Strada at the ICC for some pre-show munching so I thought I’d tell you what I thought. The ICC is just by Brindley Place and the canal so the setting is lovely as you can see out of the window. In the summer, I bet it’s amazing as Strada can open up the doors for a little al fresco dining. Read More

I’ve started travelling a lot more within the past few years and visiting loads of new cities, both in the UK and Europe. Fitness: The Importance Of Rest & Recovery

When it comes to training and fitness, as much as we’re all going crazy with the HIIT workouts, getting up at crazy o’clock and morphing ourselves into ‘fitness and wellness’ experts, we all need time to chill out and basically not be in the gym. The Prettiest Meringues Ever?

If someone said to you wine flavoured meringue you’d be all, erm, yes. Right? Totally. That what happened when I heard about the I heart wines collaboration with the awesome Meringue Girls – the stars that made those burger macaroons for the Tommy Hilfiger LFW show! They’ve worked together to create this gorgeous range of Merlot, Prosecco and Rose meringues. I’ve got the recipe here the Rose meringue kisses for you, thanks to I heart wines, so if you’re the baking way inclined (which I am not, I am the eating way inclined), you can make them yourself! But, all the same, they’re delicious whether you eat or create them! Read More

Petit Paris Review Nottingham

It was my birthday a few weeks ago and I wanted a family meal with some of my nearest and dearest in a nice setting. I wanted a chilled atmosphere that wasn’t too loud, somewhere we could chat, have some nice wine and also amazing food. I’d seen Petit Paris a lot, simply walked past it and noticed it’s cute Paris-styled sign but never eaten there. But, now I have, I 100% would again! Read More

The Trouble With Teeth

Teeth. They give us endless problems. I know this all too well as I’m right at the end of my Invisalign treatments which I’ll be writing about super soon! From pain to paranoia, they can be a real source of stress. A recent BUPA study revealed that bad teeth stop one in four people smiling in photos and I’m definitely part of this statistic. Do we care for the wrong reasons? Of course, you should care about your teeth, I do so much more since having my braces, I probably care a lot more now than I ever did. Proper dental hygiene is essential for keeping them healthy.  Read More
