Whistles is one of my favourite brands, they just seem to get it right for me every time, their clean lines and punchy prints are just gorgeous and their pieces are always cut beautifully.
But, confession, I haven’t actually bought anything from Whistles. Until now. They’re slightly out of my student price range unfortunately but a girl can dream right? Alas, the dream came true on Sunday afternoon when I spied the infamous red letters on the window of the store. S A L E. Utt-ooohhh! There goes all my un-disposable income.

So, here’s the unveiling of my amazing boots from Urban Outfitters! There was so many amazing pieces that I could have chosen but I wanted to get an investment piece that will last me ages! These Deena & Ozzy boots are gorgeous, leather and just plain amazing to go with so many things.

So the day so many Nottingham city dwellers have been waiting for happened on Thursday. Urban Outfitters in the Victoria Centre opened! Yaaaaay. And it is huge! Absolutely massive with a ghost staircase leading downstairs to even more indie and edgy goodness. I was invited along to the Press & Blogger opening in the morning, massively grateful as I didn’t really fancy fighting my way through the crowds in the evening. Basially, I love Fran from Made in Chelsea’s style, I think she always looks wicked. So I’ve picked a few bits that I think she’d wear, she loves a floral bold print and a fedora. Pair with a leather jacket or statement blazer and you’ve got her effortless but oh so stylish look. Tres chic.

The Fashion Bloodhound Showcase
On Wednesday night the lovely Leyla & I went to the Fashion Bloodhound Showcase at the Francis Hotel in Bath on behalf of The Image Consulting Company. I felt like I was walking into Carrie Bradshaw’s wardrobe or something, it was amazing. I tried on the most amazing Mawi cocktail ring, there’s pics below. Some of the pieces were just incredible. Seeing Halston Heritage and Alexander McQueen in real life, holding it in my hand, pretty incredible when you’re used to drooling over them in films, or online and you’re used to clutching a Topshop bag on the bus home. (Not that I take the bus, but you get the analogy)
