If there’s one thing I know about it’s dry shampoo. I use it every day, whether it’s to freshen up second day hair or to give my just washed hair a texture boost – literally every day. It’s my go-to, holy grail, couldn’t live without hair product and I’ve tried nearly every brand on the market! This in mind, I thought I’d run down three of the latest that I’ve finished up and tell you what I thought of them!
First up it’s a Boots own brand dry shampoo in the ‘Paradise Island’ fragrance. I just picked this up on a lunch break when doing a little top up shop as it was on offer at £1.50! Bargain. It’s actually a really good product and if I was feeling really strapped for cash I’d definitely settle for this over some of my favoured brands as it really does the job without any sticky residue or white powder nightmares! Next is the ‘This One’ Volumizing dry shampoo which I won’t be buying again! This did exactly what it said it wouldn’t do and left me with horrible sticky feeling hair! No thanks. Lastly, it’s the Garnier Ultimate Blends which is said to leave your hair silky and refreshed. I didn’t feel like it did anything to my hair! I didn’t feel fresher, it was simply still as limp as when I started so I won’t be buying that one again either! The cheapest product in this line up is definitely the best in my opinion and it’s the closest to Batiste as you can get for under 2 quid.
