Wavy Long Bob Hair Tutorial

I get a few questions about how I style my hair occasionally so I thought it’d be fun to do a quick how to post about how I do it and what I use! This ends up looking like my photo in the top right, just if you haven’t seen it.

When I wash it, I always use Wella System Professional Luxe Oil on the ends to keep them happy and then roughly blow dry, sometimes I use a salt spray too but I’m never sure if I really see the benefits of it once I’ve finished my hair. If anyone has any texturising or salt spray recommendations I’d love to hear them please! Read More

10 Shine-Beating Powders Under £10

As someone with combination skin, I get the curse of the shiny T-Zone everyday! We oily skinned girls probably use up powder twice as fast as those lucky normal-skinned gals so it’s good to have a powder that’s easy on the bank account.

My all time favourite out of this ten has to be Rimmel Stay Matte – I mean this is under £4 and it packs a punch. Maybelline Matte MakerSeventeen Miracle Matte and Collection Lasting Perfection are all at a similar price point and do the job to the same degree so it just depends what brand you favour when it comes to picking between these few. 6 Chest of Drawers Perfect For Make Up Storage

After being inspired by Anna from ViviannaDoesMakeup and Lily Pebbles on Youtube with their make up storage ideas I moved my teeny (in comparison to theirs!) make up and skincare collection to the top draw of my IKEA Malm chest of drawers.

I now have all my skincare, make up, nail varnishes and body care in one place as opposed to dotted around various places in our bedroom. I’m finding this a lot easier in the morning and things are so much tidier. With this in mind, here are 6 chests of drawers that are perfect for make up storage, whatever your budget and taste. The Autumn Hair Update

Autumn rolled around and I was feeling like a change! KH Hair is my one-stop shop for all things hair nowadays, since my first trip where they gave me a hair overhaul I’ve kept going back for my trims and this time, my colour. My hairspo for this ‘do was actually Myleene Klass on BBQ Champ if anyone watched that random show on ITV! I already had a dip-dye ombre fade thing going on and this is just a more extreme version with darker roots and lighter ends than I previously had. My hair stylist, Ruth, always nails the colour and the cut, I mean how great is the fade? It doesn’t look stripy or that there’s an obvious change in colour which I love. Read More

Benefit Air Patrol BB Eyelid Primer

I didn’t realise how much of a necessity an eye-primer was in my make-up routine until I forgot to use it one day and noticed how different my face looked. In my opinion, I looked more tired and my eyes more sunken. I love an eye primer/perfector product to brighten up the eye area and get rid of any redness/veins etc. Read More
