Fresh Skin For A New Year

I always love trying out new skincare and although the majority of this range isn’t new to me and to the market but there are a few new products that have been added to the range. The range in question is the Tea Tree & Witch Hazel from Boots, with some of the products having added Active Charcoal too. I’ve been giving these a go over the past week or so as my skin’s been feeling quite oily. My skin can never make it’s mind up in the winter, it’s dry one minute and super oily the next so it needs a bit of balancing out. Read More

2017 Scandi Bedroom Inspiration

If there’s an area of the home where we can really let our imaginations run wild, it’s in the bedroom. Whilst kitchens require a touch of functionalism, and living rooms usually have a television or fireplace as their focal point, our bedrooms are our most privates places, and offer us a huge chance to try some interesting design schemes. Obviously, my favourite style is minimal and Scandi! A quick check on Pinterest reveals how I’m usually drawn towards a modern and contemporary feel that has enough quirkiness and individuality to embrace some more unconventional trends. (I love Liz’s home board! Check out mine here.) Read More

Dr. Bronner Winter Skin Soothers Review

Up for review today in the skincare stakes are these skin-soothing products from Dr. Bronner. That cake or ice-cream sweet is hard to beat if you’re running on pure cravings so I like to find puddings that are in no way clean eating but don’t break the calorie bank. Treats like these are hard to find! Read More

Berry & Banana Overnight Protein Oats Recipe

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Said, someone once and now everyone’s stolen their saying. But, still, it is super important to eat breakfast because you’ve essentially been ‘fasting’ all night whilst you’ve been asleep. I don’t believe that you need to eat at a certain time, like an hour after waking, or anything like that because I’ve not seen evidence that it really matters. I usually eat about 1-1.5 hours after waking up on weekdays and it’s definitely within 30 mins on weekends when showering before eating is 100% not necessary. Read More
