Dr. Bronner Winter Skin Soothers Review

Up for review today in the skincare stakes are these skin-soothing products from Dr. Bronner. I’ve seen this brand everywhere for a few years, most noticeably the Castile Liquid Soap that I know loads of beauty bloggers are a fan of for washing brushes. But, until now, I’d not actually trialed the products for myself. Read More

Organic Overnight Chocolate Protein Oats

I’ve been a regular protein powder user for about 3 years now since getting into fitness in a more serious way and having the protein expertise of my other half to learn from. I’ve tried a lot of different brands and I now know some of my favourites and what flavours I like. But, it did occur to me, whilst on my 8 week clean eating challenge, that my protein powder may not actually be as clean as the rest of my diet. That’s when I discovered Whey Ahead, this organic protein powder! This stuff isn’t as sweet as your standard protein powder and is the UK’s first range of certified organic flavoured & unflavoured protein. Powered purely by organic protein from grass-fed cows and raw superfoods, this stuff’s pretty good. Read More

Cook Your Way To A Healthy Smile

Today I’m working with Simplyhealth to improve the nation’s dental health purely by adding a little bit more healthy food into our diets! They’ve created a really useful infographic all about which foods are great for dental health.

To work towards this cause, I received an organic food box containing a whole load of yummy stuff to create some healthy recipes from. There was chicken legs, pork sausages, celery, apples, mature cheddar cheese, semi-skimmed milk, baking potatoes, summer spinach (which by the way is HUGE), walnuts and some Brazil nuts. An awesome load of healthy food to kick off my week well. I love to eat and I aim to eat a pretty balance diet of mainly fresh, home-cooked food with the occasional naughty pizza. Read More

Faith in Nature Organic Pineapple & Lime Shampoo

Faith in Nature aren’t a brand that I had heard of before but when they contacted me asking whether I’d like to try out some of their exotic sounding shampoo and conditioners I thought why not! This one really caught my eye as I absolutely love pineapple, mango and lime as flavours and smells. So, what do I think? The scent is lovely and it leaves my hair feeling really clean, which of course is a massive plus with shampoo! The conditioner I think is a little too runny for my liking, I prefer my conditioners to be really thick and mask-like but this was the only slight negative that I had with the product. Otherwise, I love it and it’s a welcome addition to my shower! As a plus, all of their products are organic so we can be sure that there aren’t any nasties going into our hair. I really fancy the look of the Grapefruit & Orange shampoo too! Read More

Nourish Balance Skincare Review

I always love to try out new skincare routines and products, I have really oily skin and it tends to get used to stuff quite easily and I like to change it up quite regularly. The Nourish Skincare range is new to the market and I had the lucky chance to try it out after a Twitter competition. I’m giving it a little review and telling you about my first impressions in this post! Read More
