My First Cult Beauty Haul

It’s my first Cult Beauty haul (well, mini-haul!) and I’m super excited about these products. I took the plunge at the weekend after being intrigued by the Mizon Honey Black Sugar Scrub. This Korean pot of amazingness is the first ‘pore purger’ that I’ve picked up as weekly treatments to really give my skin a lift. After the first use, my skin felt super soft and it smelled lovely so I’m really looking forward to seeing how it helps my oily skin as time goes on.

I also picked up Caudelie’s Instant Detox Mask which is ‘powerfully detoxifying’ because it ‘draws out impurities to alleviate congestion and reduce the probability of blemishes or breakouts, while pink clay and coffee purge pores of blackhead-causing dirt and excess oil’. Sounds pretty good, huh? I’ve had a pink clay mask before and I quite enjoyed it, but this one is totally amped up. I popped this on in the bath the other night for about 10 minutes and I was super impressed as soon as I washed it off, my skin felt really nice. I was even more impressed the morning after as I saw quite a few little white heads popping up which means my skin is clearly detoxing and all the rubbish is being drawn out of my skin. Success so far, I’m going to continue using this twice a week and hopefully we’ll see some real results.

The final thing I picked up was a make-up item after my mega mascara cleanse the other day where I threw out the majority of them as they were almost definitely all out of date. Gross. The Stila Mile High Mascara sounded fab and I love the gold packaging!
