This leather skirt is one of my closet veterans. I say that because it’s been in my wardrobe for longer than two years which is a long stint as far as my clothes are concerned. This is because it’s amazing quality, the fit is spot on and it will never go out of style. This is the type of piece that you can easily dress up or play down and most of the time I play my denim down. This is a classic outfit for me. Navy + stripes + black + trainers = everyday uniform. It’s actually a shocker there’s no denim in sight!
Stripes will forever be my go-to in my wardrobe. I could easily wear stripes every day of the week purely because I love them and the sheer fact that I own that many striped tops. I promise you, they’re all different! This is one of my new favourites as it’s in between a sweatshirt and a top because it’s super soft thick cotton, it’s from Mango but I picked it up in the sale as a super bargain so it’s no longer in stock. I’ve linked to an almost identical Topshop number below!
Bomber Jacket – Topshop
Leather Skirt – Warehouse (old, similar here)
Stripe Top – Mango (sale, similar here)
Bag – Love My Soul
Trainers – Adidas Originals
Another ‘never-leave-me’ item in my wardrobe is this Topshop bomber jacket. It’s actually sherpa lined so it’s so, so cosy and has been one of my most worn items this winter into the spring. It’s great for layering under bigger coats when it’s seriously cold and is a good transitional piece for when the temperatures warm up a little bit.
