The weekend files; brunch and a new style trial

Having a free Saturday meant four things had to happen. A lie in, brunch with my girl Robyn, shopping and some outfit snapping. A.K.A the best weekend activities.

Where we went

You’ll have seen me post about The Pudding Pantry before. It’s a little gem of Nottingham city centre that do epic cakes and tasty brunch. We both went for the classic scrambled eggs with a few cheeky sides. I spotted that PP have started doing their own ice cream and they have a full on truck inside with incredible flavours such as gin & tonic. If it wasn’t 10am we definitely would have grabbed a scoop.

Wardrobe rails can get pretty crowded over time, as we update them every season adding what’s new and on trend. But what if you could always look on point, with just five items in your wardrobe? A bit of a rambly post today, all about blogging and the world of influencers! At the moment, it feels like everyone is a blogger and also, at the same time, everyone is making it seriously big! These girls are giving up their jobs to be their own bosses, travel the world and absolutely smash it. I love following these girls, I love blogging and I (obviously) love paid jobs with brands I love but, would I want to do it full time?

Why It’s OK Not To Have Defined Personal Style

Personal style is one of those things I like to think I’ve had all my life. From my beloved emo stage to where I am today I think I’ve always had my own sense of style. I’m happy that I’m never going to be a cookie-cutter Instagram-famous Missguided-wearing (OK, I have some pieces from Missguided but you know the dresses I mean!) type of girl. I’m more likely going to be wearing something a little bit fun like a faux fur bag or trying my best to channel a minimalist Scandi look than a bodycon dress, sky high heels or the latest slogan t-shirt.
