I’m off to Greece in a few weeks and I really want a swimsuit for this summer’s holiday, I just think they look really cool for days out when you’re doing activities like quad biking or sailing. I prefer this to having a bikini on when I’m being active on holiday. I’ve been shopping around and trying to find the best fit and I’ve been torn between getting a cheap and cheerful one and investing a little bit more. I’m yet to find the perfect suit so I thought I’d pop together a little Save VS Spend on the topic!
The Cut Out Swimsuit
The cut-out is perfect if you love a bikini but want to cover up just a little bit without going for the full on swimsuit look. Black is super chic colour for this and this ASOS Burn Out Stripe Cut Out Swimsuit is so cool! I really like the stripe detail too and the fact that it looks quite secure across the bust area, I find a lot of swimsuits just aren’t good at keeping nip-slips at bay! You want to be able to relax on holiday and not have to worry about whether you keep popping out of your swimsuit. The same goes for this amazing L’Agent Strappy Swimsuit, it looks so flattering and secure as well as still being sexy, this is definitely an investment piece that won’t go out of style.
The Pink Swimsuit
A little bit Baywatch, a lot look-at-me. I love these uber bright swimsuits, they’re just so cool! Get the look for less with this Missguided Miami Swimsuit, perfect if you’re actually going to Miami. I also love this Private Party Always On Vacay Swimsuit, it looks like such amazing quality and I love the white as opposed to the green text on the Missguided one, personally.
The White Mesh Swimsuit
Super risque but really fun are these mesh swimsuits. They’d look really cool under some denim shorts for a boat party but probably not the one for the hotel restaurant! On the pricey side of the spectrum is the amazing Minimale Animale Firebird Swimsuit at a steep £185 but you can easily get the look for less with this Missguided Pineapple Mesh Swimsuit. Anything with pineapples on, you know I’m sold!
