The London City Break Bucket List

London. Our crazy capital city! I love London in small chunks. A day trip, a weekend break or even just when I have to pop down for a working day occasionally. That’s enough for me! London is so busy that I can only take it in small-ish doses but I always enjoy it when I go because I’m always doing something new, seeing a different sight or eating at a recently-opened restaurant or coffee shop that we’ve spied on Instagram!

I’m off to London in a couple of weeks for a little festive fun so I thought I’d run through a few things on my Bucket List for this time we head down to the Big Smoke.

1. Eat At Blacklock Soho

When we spied this ridiculous place on Instagram (as usual Insta is the birthplace of all our culinary wishes) I knew that I wanted to pay it a visit. Their bio says “Chops, wine on tap, cocktails for a fiver and a Sunday Roast almost as good as Mum’s.” Basically everything I want and more. Their roasts look incredible!

2. Buy (& Eat) A Cupcake From Crumbs & Doilies

I was watching Sunday Brunch last weekend and this chick, Cupcake Jemma, was on talking about all things baking and new trends with cake which was amazing. If you know me, you’ll know how much I *love* cake so I was glued to this feature. Jemma owns a bakery and cupcake shop in Soho called Crumbs & Doilies and I absolutely have to head here and grab one of the cakes because they just look so original and delicious. I’m also now obsessed with Jemma’s YouTube channel because I can’t bake myself so, why not watch someone that can?

3. Go To Madame Tussauds

I’ve actually never been here! I’ve done most of the classic touristy things but I’ve never done the dungeons or Madame Tussauds. I found some sweet discounted tickets from Discount-London for about £27, which makes the trip all the more fun when it’s not cost full price. With over three hundred wax models of celebs and free entry to ‘Marvel Super Heroes 4D’ you’ve got a seriously jam-packed day ahead.

There we have it! Three things that are definitely on my London Bucket List for next time I’m there. I’d love some more recommendations so leave me comment or tweet me anything that I have to eat/see/drink/so/buy in London when I’m next there!
