The end of 2017 really took it out of me, I’m not going to lie but now I’m feeling a lot better, a lot sassier and definitely back to feeling myself again and it’s a great feeling. It’s crappy when you don’t feel 100% isn’t it? Let’s get into a *little* personal post but obviously with a dash of style because I am all about this outfit. Red doesn’t have to just be festive!
Christmas break has been really fun this year, it’s been packed full of cute activities and all the festive feels. Daytime beers, Christmas tree festivals, the panto, snacks all the time, seeing my favourite people for brunch and apparently only wearing monochrome outfits with statement cross body bags.
Old Skool Vans are some of my most-worn kicks. They’re so comfy, they go with almost any outfit and they last forever. I’ve got a pair of the classic all black with the white stripe and they’re just my go-to trainers for everyday style. Here are 7 different ways how to rock my fave sneaks fresh from my Style Inspiration Pinterest board.
Can you believe it’s April already? I can’t even believe it’s Sunday already. Where does the time go? Weekends seem to fly by in a flash, especially when they’re jam packed and busy. I love a busy Saturday and a chilled out Sunday. This seems to be our go-to formula for a perfect weekend.
I’ve been kind of a bad blogger recently but you know when you can’t really get excited about anything and need a bit of a break? Yep. Pretty much it! That said, I did publish two posts last week and some people only do one post a week as standard so I don’t think I should beat myself up about it at all. I’m having a bit of a chill out with my blog at the moment, I still love it but I don’t want it to feel like a chore. So, when I don’t feel like blogging about anything, I won’t. This way, hopefully, every post will actually be as good as I want it to be and it won’t be forced at all.
Another rare outfit of the day post, I want to do more of these as we go into the spring time if it’s something you guys would like to see? This is a completely ‘me’ outfit. Trainers, denim and a bomber jacket are all style staples for me. I’ve been obsessed with my navy bomber jacket all winter, it’s been a perfect layering piece and goes with literally everything.
Here you see the so called fashion blogger who hardly ever posts outfit posts in her unnatural habit. An outfit photo! I used to do quite a few outfit posts but due to lack of confidence of getting all the crucial bits spot on, (the hair right, the face right, the awkward expression not looking too awkward etc) I kind of gave up.
Today is all about winter knitwear. I’ve always been more of a fan of the colder months than the summer in terms of dressing because I just love to layer up and I can’t live without jeans for longer than about 2 days. Plus, knitwear is one of my favourite things to have in my wardrobe! So, this New Look Grey Longline Coatigan* is the perfect new addition to my winter wardrobe.
Summer is supposedly here and when the sun comes out I always find myself reaching for smaller bags than my usual Autumn Winter suitcases. I have a few favourites and they’re all quite teeny and I can just about fit my purse, phone and powder in there, but that’s all you really need for summer days isn’t it?
