Mello Raw Melon Juice

Mello is the newest juice on the scene, it’s 100% raw and natural and is apparently the UK’s ‘first raw melon juice‘ and it’s taken the almost-saturated juice market by storm. You can even buy it on Ocado now! What makes Mello different to all of the juices though? It doesn’t use traditional juicing methods like heat pasteurising as the founder, Rose Aldean believes that this ‘damages the taste and health benefits’. Mello is cold pressed by a process called High Pressure Processing (HPP) which gives it it’s completely clean taste. Unlike other juices on the market which are often full of additives, it’s literally all fruit juice. The sugar content is apparently less than the industry’s favourite green juice and another plus is that one small bottle includes 45% of your RDA of Vitamin A & C! It’s rehydrating, repairing and replenishing for your body and your skin.

Branding wise, their website it really, really cool. You need to check it out for all the crazy moving bits that are pretty mesmerising. On the other hand the actual packaging of the product is to me, a bit disappointing. Mello is sold in Harvey Nichols, Ocado, Whole Foods etc and is around £2.50 for a small 250ml bottle so it’s pretty pricey! The labels on the bottle are just a little bit home-made looking and I’d expect more of an Innocent Smoothie type of bottle and I found that it was hard to get a good photograph of the drinks due to the lumpy label.
