NEW IN: Primal Snack Box

I live for snacks, snacks are one of the my favourite parts of the day because they just happen so frequently! I always have a morning, an afternoon snack or two and an evening snack post-dinner if I’m craving something sweet. I’ve wanted to give Primal Snack Boxes a go for a while so I took the plunge come pay day when they had a free Caveman Cookies offer on too. Who can say no to free cookies?

Primal are the UK’s first monthly paleo snack box and have a monthly subscription model for their three different ranges which is cool. They have a meaty focused box called the Savannah, a vegan & vegetarin box called the Forest and a Barrecorre box which is compiled by their founder Niki Rein. I picked this box and it was just under £20 with my 10% off induction code and then my freebie cookies on the side. You get between 7 and 10 snacks of all flavours, tastes and sizes and they’re sweet & savoury. It gives you a chance to try new brands and discover new things. I haven’t tried everything in my box yet but so far I’ve loved the Rude Health Pumpkin Pie bar and I had a 100% organic raw brownie in there which was awesome. These were both similar to Naked bars and Bounce Balls, just dates, nuts and fruits. I love these for quick snacks because they really give me that sweet hit without the sugar crash.

I also absolutely loved the Snackaroons coconut & date cookies and the Raw Halo cacao nib chocolate was amazing. I’ve not attacked the savoury snacks yet but I’d definitely pick up another box again if I hit a snacking rut just to boost things up. They’re a little expensive for me to have a subscription but I’ll definitely pick up another one-time box in the future. Have you tried Primal or anything similar?

Finally – how fab is this packaging? Everything in the box had awesome branding to be fair and I really like Primal’s branding too. It really makes a difference!
