5 Pasta Dishes You Need In Your Life

Nope, it’s not Pasta Day/Week/Month, I just really like pasta and spend 90% of my time on Pinterest pinning food that I want to create in mu own kitchen. I’m such a foodie and I love to cook so I thought I’d share some of my favourite pins of the moment that I’m hoping to whip up in the next few weeks for dinner.

1. Chicken Fajita Pasta

Fajitas? Good. Chicken? Good. Cheese? Goooood. Hell yes! This recipe is basically heaven in a pan, right? Cheesey, smokey paprika, peppers (aka my favourite vegetable) and pasta. I need to make this ASAP!

2. Vegan Red Pepper Pasta

I’m really into the idea of Meat-Free Mondays and generally eating a few meat-free meals a week because it’s better for the environment in terms of demand for meat and it’s an excuse to eat pasta. This is a vegan pasta dish. I won’t lie, I’d probably make it vegetarian and add cheese because I can’t live without cheese but this looks incredible. It does have a cashew ricotta but I’m not about that fake cheese life. I’m getting more into olives at the moment thought and I love red peppers (did I mention this already?) so this is dreamy with all the garlic and spinach.

3. US-style mac ’n’ cheese

Duh. Mac n cheese is a winner right? It has to have flavour though otherwise it can be a bit dull. I like a touch of blue cheese or bacon in my mac and cheese and it has to be super crispy.

4. Italian Sausage Rigatoni with Spicy Cream Sauce

Sausages are so underrated when it comes to pasta, it’s a great switch up and a nice change from mince or chicken. Rigatoni is also a switcheroo when it comes to pasta as I usually opt for classic (boring) penne. This is going on my meal rota for sure.

5. Chorizo Penne with Mushrooms and Sun-dried Tomatoes

Sun dried tomatoes are up there with one of my favourite ingredients for any dish! Chorizo goes perfectly with these little gems and mushrooms are such a good thing to bulk out dishes with as they’re so low in calories and so tasty.

  1. I LOVE pasta!!! I could eat it everyday and right now I’m so hungry. I’ll definitely be trying out chicken fajita and Italian sausage rigatoni – yum! x
