Upgrading my jewellery game with Lola Rose

Jewellery is one of those areas that I think us girls fall into a few different camps with. Either, they LOVE jewellery and it’s all they want for Christmas, Valentine’s Day and birthdays or, like me, gals that have a few cool and random pieces that are basically ‘costume’ jewellery (I hate that saying though!) and don’t have too much meaning. I’ve just never really been attached to jewellery and I don’t really like receiving it as a gift because I’m quite particular in what I like. Read More

How to stop overspending

You guys know I love to shop, but I also love to save and make sure I’m looking after the pennies. I wrote a post all about 4 ways to be better with money which was all about knowing what you have and saving where you can. This post is all about spending that cash that is actually mine to spend. How I’m styling the tea dress trend

Two things that I’ve been loving recently: the whole 10 series of Friends now being on Netflix and wearing tea dresses layered over roll necks. But seriously, who else has totally binged watched Friends this month? Life changing.

This cute dress trend caught my eye a few months ago when it sprung up but I honestly couldn’t find any that weren’t too short or too low-cut for my preference in the summer and autumn months when they were most prominent. I just don’t have the confidence to be all out when I’m not on holiday or in beach wear! I always find that I think I can’t wear a specific trend or style until I find my way of styling it up or the right piece. Read More

My 2018 blogging goals

For 2018 I’m not really going to set myself any resolutions or anything too serious, I know I want to try and get on the property ladder this year, I know that I want to actually use my recipe books more and I know that I want to continue progressing in my career and learning but I’m pretty certain that these things will happen of their own accord!
