Nope, it’s not Pasta Day/Week/Month, I just really like pasta and spend 90% of my time on Pinterest pinning food that I want to create in mu own kitchen. I’m such a foodie and I love to cook so I thought I’d share some of my favourite pins of the moment that I’m hoping to whip up in the next few weeks for dinner.
What I spend in a week #1
I’ve become obsessed with the Refinery 29 Money Diaries! I don’t know why, maybe I’m just nosy, maybe I just want to know whether I spend a normal amount of money? I don’t know! If you’ve not read them, it’s basically an insight into what women with different salaries, different lives and who live in different areas of the UK spend every week. I also spotted that Gillian from Elevator Musik did her own version so I decided I would too!
Where To Eat In Prague: La Bottega Linka
La Bottega Linka is one of the best places in Prague for breakfast or brunch (and even lunch actually, we went there twice on our trip!). It’s a seriously cool industrial-feeling cafe with incredible food.
We discovered this place on Instagram, naturally, and headed there for our first meal when we’d landed in Prague. We needed lunch! For our first meal we had a picnic style lunch of different salads and then bread and freshly cut meats and cheese. They have a deli in the cafe with all of these ready to go and everything looked amazing. We had such a delicious lunch and we spied this ‘Sweet Breakfast’ on the menu so decided to book for our last morning in Prague.
9 Things You Need To Do In Prague
You all know I love a city break. Let’s walk 35 miles in three days and pretend we’re not tired? OK, cool! But seriously, city breaks are amazing, you cram so much into a long weekend and just like that, you’ve seen a whole new city, experienced new foods and had a load of fun with your favourite people. Here are my nine recommendations on what to do in Prague.
Around The World Review Nottingham
I’m going to kick this off by saying whoever invented halloumi is seriously special. I mean, those Greeks know how to do cheese. And that’s exactly what we started our dinner at Around The World with. Around The World is part of the new Bierkeller complex that’s hit up Friar Lane in Notts city centre. (It’s in the old Walkabout for anyone who’s bad with street names!) Around The World is a bar with Bierkeller German Stein and Hotdog bar below and a Shooters sports bar above it. The complex has literally everything for a fun, cheap night out with surprisingly good food.
4 Steps To Perfect Bathroom Decor
The bathroom is definitely one of the most used rooms in any home, and it has a huge influence on our daily activities. However, it’s also a room that tends to get ignored as we can often turn our attention to the living room or bedrooms. In reality, though, this part of the home should be updated every few years at least. So if your bathroom has gone a long time without receiving the affection it deserves, now’s the time to make a change!
3 Ways To Get Your Inspiration Back
Just recently I’ve been feeling a little overwhelmed and a teeny bit uninspired so I’ve decided to take a week and then my up coming city break this weekend to have a step back from the blog and get super inspired again. Time to get my mojo back!
There’s been so much happening recently in my little world that it’s been difficult to focus. Fortunately I know a couple of things that help me when I’m feeling a bit lost and I’m definitely going to make sure I do these so I can come back to my blog feeling fresh in a week or so!
How To Deal With Three Of Life’s Biggest Event
Change is never easy. Sure, it’s exciting and it provides you with new ways to live your life, but it definitely isn’t easy. Your twenties is a time of your life when everything seems to be changing – your friends are coupling up and getting increasingly less enthusiastic about doing shots of sambuca at 2am on a Wednesday night – and if you’re honest, the idea of vegging out to Netflix on your sofa wrapped in a duvet sounds quite appealing to you as well. Here are three of the biggest life changes that might happen to you in your twenties and how best to handle them…
How To Eat Chocolate Every Day (& Still Fit In Your Clothes)
Treats, sweets and chocolate don’t have to be seasonal. You can definitely have them all year round (I mean every day) if you want them! Obviously, some people will just say “duh” and eat it anyway. This post probably isn’t for you. This post is for people that think that chocolate and cakes are ‘fattening’, bad for you and generally a once in a blue moon thing. Totally not the case. They’re obviously full of sugar and aren’t packed with vitamins but if they keep you sane in small quantities then they’re totally fine and I think, essential.
Interiors: How To Have Fun With Monochrome
I haven’t written an interiors related post for a while! I wrote about tropical trends at Victoria Retail Park, Scandi bedroom inspo and bathroom storage tips this year though if you fancy a read. I may not write about interiors weekly as I might do food or fashion but it’s definitely still something that I think about on a daily basis. Usually, it’s just pinning on Pinterest or liking some of my favourite house-related Instagram accounts, but I love interiors!
