This ASOS oversized oatmeal jumper has taken over my life, I’m not gonna lie to you. It’s the warmest, softest, cosiest thing ever and it’s just making getting ready so easy. It goes with every colour of denim, every jacket I own and pretty much all of my shoes so we’re getting on like a house on fire.
Denim is one of those things that I think people have comfort blankets with, it definitely is for me. I’m 80% a skinny jeans girl these days and have been for a long time now. Pre-skinny jeans days it was all about the boot cut for the school disco, right? And before the boot cut days it was all about the skater fit jeans – remember those Tammy Girl dreamboats? Amazing. The more ripped, the baggier, the grubbier, the better. Those were the days. My jeans evolution has grown with me as I’m sure it has for most people my age and denim will always be my number one go-to for the start of an outfit.
Blog photography is one of those things that look effortless and gorgeous when they’re done right and is something that I’m always striving to improve. I’m not the biggest fan of my own photography a lot of the time and I’m not great at teaching myself new skills. So I think it’s just something I need to put the effort in to improve myself. Sweater weather is here! Hell to the yes, I literally love jumpers, cardigans, knitwear, however many times you want to say it – I just wanna be cosy af all the time. Here are 9 pieces fresh from three of my fave high street brands to shop from that I am loving for the new season.

ASOS is bringing the big guns this year when it comes to knitwear and they have nailed it with this oversized crew neck cream jumper. It is pure Pinterest perfection and is 100% going straight in my basket when a little discount rolls my way. Two super bright beauties that I’m loving have to be the fluffy lilac jumper with wide sleeves – (how amazing is this colour?) and the PrettyLittleThing three tiered baby blue jumper. Who said AW had to be all boring and dark? Not ASOS! 
Going out ‘out’ is a funny thing! It’s a bit of a mine field for casual gals like me and it kind of sets me into panic mode. I don’t like to really show much skin apart from my legs but then I stress out about being cold. Does anyone else do this? I then stress about being over or under dressed! When our summer social rolled around for work I was instantly stuck for what to wear but I had to think quick. This was my situ! Holiday style is one of my favourite parts about heading off to the sun. On holiday you get to wear super fun stuff that sometimes you can’t wear at home! Can we say that spring is here now? Finally! We’ve had a few days of around 15 degrees and I think that’s pretty great. Basically just because I don’t have the leave the house wrapped up in a hat, scarf, bomber jacket and parka when I go to work. Winner!
I live in a really hilly, high up place in Nottingham where it’s literally always 5 x colder than it is in the city centre so I’m always chilly on my commute. I’m glad that I can now get back to wearing half my wardrobe again! Trousers, jumpsuits, jackets and tops that I’ve put off wearing for months because it’s basically been too cold. Does anyone else have a summer and winter wardrobe? I always try to pack away some summery pieces so I don’t confuse my wardrobe. I just wish I had a walk in wardrobe so I could see everything better, don’t you?
A bit of a rambly post today, all about blogging and the world of influencers! At the moment, it feels like everyone is a blogger and also, at the same time, everyone is making it seriously big! These girls are giving up their jobs to be their own bosses, travel the world and absolutely smash it. I love following these girls, I love blogging and I (obviously) love paid jobs with brands I love but, would I want to do it full time?
