The perfect autumn knit

This ASOS oversized oatmeal jumper has taken over my life, I’m not gonna lie to you. It’s the warmest, softest, cosiest thing ever and it’s just making getting ready so easy. It goes with every colour of denim, every jacket I own and pretty much all of my shoes so we’re getting on like a house on fire.

I don’t know why but I’m not sure I would have picked this up last autumn/winter. Maybe being blonde has changed how I look at clothes and somehow I was drawn to this jumper. I’m so glad I picked it up because I’m sure it’s going to take me all the way through winter with ease. Have you got a hero piece you’ve picked up this season?

These boots are also ASOS, last season and I love how chunky they are. These are their new season equivalent that have a little bit of brogue-style detailing on them if you fancy checking them out. Obviously, black ripped knee skinny jeans are a classic for any look after, let’s face it, July. These are actually dungarees and are also super comfy.

The bag is from Love My Soul Leather and I featured it in this post all about my style comfort zone. This is also a look that’s well inside my style comfort zone because it’s a simple jumper and jeans look but it’s monochrome and that’s easy af to wear. I love that this monochrome look has different textures from leather and knitwear though, it stops it from being flat and boring. What do you think? How do you stop your style from being boring but still make sure you’re comfortable with it?

All shots by the lovely Anna from Pear & Bear Photography, of course.
