First of all, how cute is the packaging and branding of First Aid Beauty’s products? I really love that it’s not cutesy, floral or pink like a lot of products, it looks so cool. This is my first foray into First Aid Beauty, I’ve seen their products around on a few blogs and on Essie Button’s YouTube channel so I took the plunge when I was after a new toner and picked up these Facial Radiance Pads whilst Lookfantastic had a 20% off code flying about! I’ve been using them for about 10 days now, I wanted to give them a good go before I reviewed them!

5 Days of Breakfast with #AlproTops
I’m a proper breakfast queen! I can never go without it and will never understand people that can go until lunch without eating anything. Usually, Luke and I have eggs either scrambled, fried or poached with bacon, toast or avocado. Occasionally we’ll have muesli or porridge if we fancy a chance! When Alpro got in touch with their new campaign all about their soya yoghurt ranges I was really excited.
Hello Mouthwash Review
Mouthwash is one of those things that we’re all supposed to use and usually forget about like dental floss! Well, for me it is and I usually hate the taste of most of them as I find that they taste really chemically. Enter – Hello and their range of natural mouthwashes which have no alcohol, nasty chemicals or colourings. I’ve trialled their Supermint taste which Hello kindly sent to me but they also stock it in pink grapefruit and mojito mint! I really like the taste of this one, it’s a million times nicer than your standard chemically mouthwash and is 99% natural. Hello also have breath sprays which are a great idea for keeping fresh on the go especially if you’ve had a cheeky onion-ridded sandwich or salad at lunch time!
Our Anniversary Weekend at Ox Pasture Hall Hotel
Luke and I have been together a year last weekend and we took the opportunity to vist an amazing hotel in Yorkshire called the Ox Pasture Hall Hotel, a few miles outside of Scarborough. We decided to really celebrate in style as we’ve been through a lot together in such a short time and felt like we deserved a treat!
impress Press-On Manicure Review
I’ve been interested in these Press-On Manicure nails for a while, as they’re already painted and super easy to apply. Check them out at Boots here. The ‘Rock It’ colour way I’ve linked are a simple French manicure. The ones I’ve reviewed are a shiny nude and a dark purple. I tried out the nude colour and I didn’t really like them, the colour was a bit flat for a start. I also wasn’t really impressed with the application as the backing strips were really difficult to pull off (especially if you’ve done one hand and you’ve got false nails trying to grab onto something!). I might use the dark ones if I’m having a nail emergency and need a super quick fix as they were quite speedy to apply once you get over pulling off the backing. Another good thing was the fact that they were thin and didn’t look as chunky as normal false nails.
