What’s your perfect Saturday? Mine is definitely something food and fun based and that’s exactly what the recent Bumble event organised by the gorge Jess was all about. A bunch of us blogger babes headed to Oscar & Rosie’s in Nottingham to create our own pizzas, learn how to chuck the dough about and basically have the best time ever.
Can we just talk about how cute the decor is upstairs in Oscar & Rosie’s? I didn’t even know they had an upstairs but it’s obviously where all the parties and events are held and it’s covered in plants, cute decor and fairy lights a.k.a the Instagram dream. Add in some yellow Bumble balloons and it’s all kinds of cute.
After whipping up our team names (we were Wanna Pizza Me, obvs) and smooshing out our dough it was time for the best bit – the toppings! I went for a rainbow theme with a mix of all the meats and the veg. Pepperoni in the middle, roasted peppers, courgettes and caramelised onions, mushrooms, chicken, fennel spiced pork and ham hock. Oh, and obviously all the mozzarella. This was delicious and felt all the more exciting because I made it all myself! Ta-da! This is my finished creation and although we didn’t win out of our teams (God knows why because hello, look at this masterpiece), we had the best time. I absolutely love heading to these Bumble events because they’re always so much fun and it’s so nice to meet new people and hang out with blogger babes that you can chat to all about the world of blogging, warts and all! I can’t wait for the next one.
