I couldn’t think of a more exciting title for this outfit because it’s simple and basic and just what I’ll be wearing for probably the next sixth months. Well, variations on a theme, anyway. Comfortable jeans, a cute jumper (this one has surprise stars embroidered on the elbows!), Converse and a cosy coat.
I’m a huge fan of dressing for the colder months as you might know. I love layering and chunky knits and wearing coats and bobble hats! I also love carrying bigger handbags, I just find them more comfortable. As much as I like a little bag I think they always seem really summery! Enter my newest bag addition, the Love My Soul Cameron Hobo Bag in Mink. I love the colour of this, it’s so different, I’ve never seen anything like it before, it’s a cross between salmon, brown, pink and the leather is amazing quality. I also love the chain accent and the dark pewter metallic accents. It’s rare to find a bag without gold or silver hardware and I think it looks really cool.
If you like this bag and fancy getting yourself a little something lovely from the Love My Soul website then you can use my code LMS-TFG-20 to grab 20% off anything from the New In section of the website. This is valid until the 25th November. I also did a previous post for Love My Soul, back in the blonde days, here.
I love this outfit, I actually threw it together quite quickly before my shoot and I think it’s my favourite from the day. This ASOS Bobble Hat is permanently fixed to my fuzzy head this winter because I just find they keep me so warm as well as looking cute. These Topshop Mid Blue Rip Knee Mom Jeans are also a surefire winner for me, they’re so comfortable! I also wore them in my White Shirt Styling post from last week if you want to check that out for a smarter take on how to wear them.
As I mentioned, this ASOS Star Elbow Jumper is seriously cute and offers a lil’ surprise! Finally, the Marks & Spencer Grey Boyfriend Coat, also featured in the White Shirt Styling post has been such a great investment. I’ve had loads of compliments on it and I feel like it’ll wear well as it’s that lovely boucle fabric that’s bobbly on purpose! I’ve linked it but there aren’t many sizes left in it so there are similar here and here from ASOS. I’ve also been wearing my Black Hi-Top Converse at least three times a week, they’re just so versatile and comfortable.
What’s your winter uniform? Are you a chunky knit and comfy jeans gal, like me?
